This work is developing the advantage of cartographic metod. Only one aspect was used to prove opportunities of using cartographic metod - relief. The evaluation of relief transformations is based on the data of cartometric investigations. Two large-scale topographic maps were compared for determining the quantitative values of relief transformations. One of the maps was compiled in 1899, the other in 1986. The scales are 1:21 000 and 1:10 000 respectively. Cartometric data was combined with present cartographic programs for the purpose to show visual difference between relief of 1899 map and the relief of 1986 map. Spatial relief model and interpolation were used as the optimal way to express information and show changes in survey area . |
