Abstract [eng] The paper presents and analyzes the social workers' professional development system for regulating the legal documents, analyze the social work qualification of workers organizing function activities, as well as the latest statistics relating to client groups of social workers and expert interview. Social care institutions administrative office of Social Security and Labour of the Ministry is responsible for social workers to ensure certification and social work workforce training system functions. However, the main organizing body for social workers qualification training - Social Work Resource Centres (51), which organized the theoretical and practical trainings for social workers. Summarizing the results, it can be argued that in social work training system, not all elements of strategic management are implement. The main problem - there is no clear policy for the management of resources, the coordination process is slow and evaluation system undeveloped. In order to improve social work professional development system, there are formulated three strategic priorities of system quality improvement: 1) Social workers' training motivation; 2) methodological centers for social work coordination and improvement of financial situation; 3) methodological centers for social work quality improvement and evaluation. The implementation of these strategic priorities, will help professional development system of the social workers' become more flexible, more motivated and Social Work Resource Centre to develop and provide trainings, what is more social workers would engage in continuous learning process.
