Globalization is fundamental process, which change the structure of world’s policy, economy and society. Migration is one of global results of change and which is considered as a path to employment, education, freedom or other opportunities now. But we don’t need to take migration as the phenomenon of XXI century because humane and orderly management of migration benefits both to the states and migrants. Only challenges of migration needs an adequate reaction to the results of free labour force migration. Consequently effective migration management is achieved through balanced consideration factors, taking into account the root causes of migration. The purpose of work thesis is to traverse a subject: elements for effective migration management and the development of comprehensive and balanced migration management policies and to offer the model of migration management for Lithuania. |
