Abstract [eng] The mysterious and diverse world of micro-organisms determined my graduation thesis „Microscintillation“ theme. Micro-organisms are the largest group of the nature representatives. They are little known to us, because they are very small and visible only through the microscope. Due to their microscopic size, ability to adapt to the different living conditions and their high bioavailability, micro-organisms are wide spread in the nature and plants, and the bodies of the human and animal. There are plenty of them in the water, air and food as well. The world of micro-organisms is the most mysterious world of all. The Micro-world world remains so inscrutable because although it is „everywhere“, it still is unseen. The purpose of my graduation thesis is to analyse the variety of micro-world, its meaning to our environment. Furthermore I tried to interpret it by depicting it in the textile creative work. In the theoretical part of the dissertation, the micro-world , its classification and variety are analysed. The natural colour spectrum and speciality of the forms of the micro-organisms are approached as well. The creations, which were related to the “Microscintillation“, were collected and systemised. Out of the sample of this information, it appears that there are artists, who use it as a source of inspiration for their works. Natural microbial forms, their diversity of colours and delicate shades inspire artists for the unexpected “microbial“ interpretations. The idea of the creative work is to acquaint us with still quite unknown micro-world, which stuns us with its incredible forms, variety of colours, spatial impalpability and fragile beauty. In my opinion, most people know a lot about vertebrate predators, but only a few, probably, imagines about battle, which happens between these little, undistinguished micro-organisms almost in every corner of the Earth. Therefore, I hope that due to my work people will slightly think about our micro-neighbours. In the graduation thesis the visualisation capabilities of the unseen and unknown micro-world are investigated, theoretical and visual sources are analysed and textile compositions are projected.
