Abstract [eng] |
The problems of the interrelations between work stress and orientations of managerial leadership were analyzed in this Master’s thesis. Also, there were investigated and systematized theoretical and practical researches of various Lithuanian and foreign authors. Additionally, the research was carried out using two already worked-out and tested in Lithuanian organizations instruments: A questionnaire of Work Stress (132 features surveyed) created according to Osipow, Spokane (1987) and A questionnaire of Managerial Leadership (108 features were surveyed). These instruments were translated and adjusted to Lithuania after the questionnaire of Swedish Ekvall ir Arvonen (1987), Lindell and Rosenqvist (1992). The empirical research has showed that the work stress is closely related to orientations of leadership. The author’s hypothesis introducing the fact that managers‘ estimate themselves higher than then the rest of the stuff and that managerial leadership influences the level of work stress experienced by the stuff, was partially proven. |
