Abstract [eng] Relevance and problem of the study. The most important attitude in today’s didactics is a focus on the child as a unique and autonomous individual expecting competent, understanding and interactive assistance of an adult to develop himself while acting in accordance with his nature. Following a recent shift to the child-centred education, individualization of education is placed as a primary objective and a precondition of preschool education quality. Consequently, the following questions shall be asked: Is the quality of individualized education in preschool institutions high? What are the factors and criteria affecting quality? Is the quality equally perceived by preschool teachers and parents?
