Consolidation of positive socialisation is relevant to social risk families in particular. Social risk families and children raised by them are the subject of various researches (Ignatavičienė, 1999; Bulotaitė, 2004; Žukauskienė, 1999). Children form social risk families face risks of several types and are more inclined to asocial behaviour as well (Ignatavičienė, Žukauskienė 1999). Such authors as G. Kvieskienė (2000), A. Juodaitytė (2002), I. Leliūgienė (2003) took interest in socialization of children in Lithuania. Children day centres might be one of community aid forms to social risk families and their children. One of major sphere of activities of children day centres is consolidation of children’s positive socialisation. We have a question – what functions are carried out by children day centres in order to consolidate the positive socialisation of children form social risk families. |
