Abstract [eng] Šarūnas Čirvinskas. (2007) UML sequence model generation based on enterprise model. MBA graduation paper. Kaunas: Vilnius University, Kaunas Faculty of Humanities, Departament of informatics 75p. Summary Main objective: Create a method and realization algorithms for UML sequence model based on enterprise model generation. Main tasks: • To analyze the work domain: knowledge based IS engineering • To implement enterprise metamodel’s content analysis through the prism of UML sequence metamodel • To create the way (algorithms) to generate UML sequence diagram. • Suggest a software prototype for created method. • To test the software prototype using real world data. Research domain: design stage of knowledge based IS engineering. Research methodology During the research main methods used were analysis and synthesis comparing, analysis of science literature and Internet sources, model creation, analysis and decomposition. Results: The analysis of work domain was implemented. Enterprise model structure was analyzed through its metamodel. Enterprise metamodels structure was compared to the sequence metamodel and it was found that the enterprise metamodel in not sufficient to create a sequence diagram. Therefore the enterprise metamodel was complemented with additional concepts. The sequence diagram generation algorithm was created and tested with a software prototype. Consequences: After enterprise metamodel and sequence metamodel decomposition and analysis there was designated that in domain knowledge repository –enterprise model stored knowledge is insufficient to generate UML sequence diagram. Therefore the knowledge repository was complemented with additional concepts. After research there was designated that sequence model generation using the created algorithm and software prototype intellectualizes IS engineering design stage because of the reduced error possibility and time consumption.
