Object of the thesis - the prevention of child rights violations in rural high school (gymnasium) type. Hypothesis. It is likely that the current system of prevention of the child rights violations in the rural type of schools does not fully ensure the protection of child rights. The aim of the thesis – by analyzing the experience to create a model system of prevention of child rights violations, which includes the community and school collaboration. The author used in the work scientific literature and publications in scientific press, and internet resources. In the work there were used such techniques as the research of scientific and legal literature, the questionnaire method, the documents (content) analysis. This master thesis analyzes theoretical aspects of children rights, child rights violations and their causes, forms of expression of violations of child rights, and theoretical aspects of the prevention of child rights violations. The results of an empirical study revealed that the most violated children right is to freely express their views, express their thoughts. The analysis of the data showed that the main factors, influencing violation of the child rights, are the following: poverty, disadvantaged families, socio-economic position, and psychological problems resulting from improper parenting, neglect, or social environment, negative media influence, alcohol or drug use. The research analysis indicated that mostly child rights are violated by minors (preadults), sometimes parents and teachers. The results of the research showed that co-operation in prevention of child rights violation between the rural community and the school is episodic and insignificant. Designed model of the prevention system of the child rights violations will help schools and rural communities to effectively organize and fulfill the prevention of child rights infringements.
