This Master Thesis frames the problems of the opportunities of the improvement of efficiency of activities of non-governmental organizations of Taurage district, it also analyzes and systemizes Lithuanian and foreign authors’ models of improvement of efficiency of activities of public sector, the methodology of the improvement of efficiency of activities of non-governmental organizations, the opportunities of collaboration of NGOs with the society and authorities. The analysis of the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, which make impact on the activities of NGOs, has been carried out. Having summarized the results of the research, the following opportunities for the improvement of efficiency of activities of non-governmental organizations of Taurage district have been distinguished: the establishment of a coalition or an association which would unite NGOs of Taurage; the publicity of the activities of via database of NGOs; the introduction of the methods of quality management; the creation of civil society as well as organization and implementation of projects which would make the community more active; the absorption of good experiences of NGOs of other regions, collaboration with them. |
