Abstract [eng] Purpose of Work: This master work is a research of dependency of schoolchildren health and seasonal time. The prime objective of this work is to link schoolchildren health and seasonal time establishment. Firstly, it is needed to make a questioning of schoolchildren. Secondly, collect the data from respondents, than process and analyze them statistically. The tasks of the work: • To estabilish the subjective health status of children. • To investigate linking daylight saving time and schoolchildren health on spring. • To investigate linking daylight saving time and schoolchildren health on fall. • To investigate maid of schoolchildren about seasonal time changes. • To investigate adaptation of schoolchildren to new seasonal time changes. Modes: The questioning was performed in Vilniaus Joachimo Lelevelio secondary school, Vilniaus Martyno Mažvydo gymnasium and Eišiskių gymnasium. All classes of schoolchildren were questioned two times, when winter and summer seasonal time was established. Chi – square test and ANOVA have been used for analyzing the data. Outcomes: The main result of this master work is defined link between schoolchildren health and seasonal time establishment. Seasonal time changes mostly affected those children who felt unhealthy before alternation of time. They experienced changes of life rhythm, because they need more time to adapt to seasonal time changes. On the average it takes about 2-3 days for children to get used to new time. Children reported that after changes of winter time they feel sleepy, nervous ,it is hardly to get up in the morning, they get tired faster. After changes of summer time they sleep better, get less tired and go to bed later. Conclusions: Schoolchildren health and seasonal time changes link was determined.
