Since teamwork is one of the opportunities to make work in education more effective, and improve its quality, this work is considered to examine the success factors in detail. It revealed the positive attitude of teachers to work in teams. It was found that the teamwork is a real form of voluntary work, but it’s still a sufficiently formal, episodic activity. A qualitative research reveals where the teamwork in educational institutions has already developed, and in what activities it doesn’t serve the purpose. The circumstances where teamwork is not effective are investigated. The reasons which affect the quality of team-working process in educational institutions are founded. The teamwork becomes more and more acceptable in many organizations, so educational institutions are not the exception.
