This master’s work analyzes teachers professional development needs, assessment of the situation and views on future trends for teacher professional development. Formulated two hypotheses: H1 - based on experts opinion, it is likely that over the next four years, teachers professional development needs will increase. H2 - it is likely, that there is a relationship between the professional development of teachers and school characteristics, and that helps predict the professional development needs. Delphi study was conducted of 10 competent experts. In a written questionnaire survey involved 202 general education teachers. The object of investigation - the teachers professional development needs in situation analysis and forecasting context. The purpose of investigation - to analyze teachers professional development needs in order to reveal the links between the teacher and school characteristics to predict. |
