In the present stury, there are discussed individual formations used in the creations of Jurga Ivanauskaitė (words not fixed in LKŽ, DŽ4, TŽŽ are deemed as individual formations or neologisms). It is analysed, which formation means were used and from what these formations were formed, which formation types and formation categories they belong to, it is considered, whether they are subject to treatment as potential or occasional formations, what was the reason of using thereof. The attention was focused on the fact, whether the formation not included into a dictionary is fixed in the Corpus of Contemporary Lithuanian Language. The research demonstrated that the most of neologisms found in the texts of Ivanauskaitė were in conformity with the requirements of word formation and were subject to treatment as potential formations. The neologisms are motivated stylistically, are included into various style figures. Three fourths of the formations are included into the Corpus. |
