Abstract [eng] In the work is analyzed how and in which methods businessmen of rural tourism may achieve high level of business management, thus the high quality service supplied, trying to satisfy client requirements in perpetually changing competitive environment. These factors create competitive advantages, because thus enables the organization to create superior value for its customers and superior profits for itself, to maintain competent workers, to use flexible price policy. The growing variety of services and requirements of customers are relevant with higher quality of country tourism services. A quality measure for customers relates with individual criteria and dimensions. SERVQUAL as the most often used approach for measuring service quality has been to compare customers' expectations before a service encounter and their perceptions of the actual service delivered, so the approach enabled to assess service quality from the customer’s perspective. The aim of the work is to estimate quality of countryside tourism services in Šiauliai and Tauragė districts, and substantiate efficiency of proposals. According to research data, were established, that subjects of countryside tourism, intending to distinguish from competitors, need to concentrate they efforts to services development and management of services culture. Advisable suggestions are: cognitive excursions, active entertainments and physical evidence as the material part of a service.
