Abstract [eng] Juvenile delinquency is a big problem not only in Lithuania,but in all European Union too. There are three important things solving the delinquency juvenile: prevention, punitive – educative measures and social integration (resocialization) of juvenile and joung violators. Non-formal education can be a possibility to resocialization, i. e. we can secure behaviour of person in complementary education, which would be useful to person and would be suit society`s interests. The subject of research – non-formal education in delinquent adolescents` resocialization in Šiauliai district youth schools. The purpose of research is to discover delinquent adolescents` possibilities of resocialization, takink part in non-formal education in Šiauliai district youth schools. Contemporary humanistic theory and the theory of risk factors play the most important methodological role in this work. The research was performed at institucional/local level in Šiauliai district minimal care juvenile institutions (Šiauliai youth school, Joniškis youth school, Radviliškis youth school and Tytuvėnai youth school). 166 respondents took part in the interrogatory: 39 teachers and 127 teenagers. The sample of teachers and teenagers – random. We used 2 types not standardized questionnaires for teachers and teenagers created by the said authors in theory. SPSS for Windows programme was used for data-processing. Analyze of nonfiktions and documents showed, that delinquent adolescents` self-expression can become the means, whitch allows self-actualize, self-reliance, self-sense in society and to indulge in activ social life. The hypothesis, if we purposefully organize non-formal education, juvenile delinquents will have a posibility to successful resocialization, proved. There is a positive attitude of teachers and teenagers towards non-formal education in the context of resocialization in Šiauliai district youth schools. The comprehensive help and maintenance are very important things solving the problem of delinquency. The possibilities of non-formal education activity are not enough well considered in Šiauliai district youth schools. Only material, spiritual and organizational things can vouch for enough possibilities of non-formal education activities.
