Abstract [eng] This work analyzes the synthesis of novel copolymers containing the zwitterionic monomer 2-methacryloyloxyethyl phosphorylcholine (MPC). RAFT copolymerization kinetics of MPC with poly(ethylene oxide) methyl ether methacrylate (PEOMEMA) was explored. The synthesis of well-defined diblock and gradient copolymers of MPC-PEOMEMA, and diblock polymers of MPC-dopamine methacrylamide (DOPMA) was developed. Key aspects of MPC-PEOMEMA copolymers include the characterization of copolymers and their properties – hydrophilicity, cononsolvency, and aqueous lubrication. The adsorption behavior of MPC-DOPMA diblock copolymers on gold surfaces was investigated, providing insights into their rapid physisorption, strong chemical adsorption dynamics.
