Subject of dissertation – illegal economical practices in Lithuanian SSR from First Soviet Occupation (1940) to death of Joseph Stalin (1953). A look into phenomenon that is analysed in dissertation is taken from three different angles: revealing a fight between economical underground and Soviet regime; showing regime`s seek to form a different attitude of society towards economical underground; recreating how other members of society reacted to economical underground and various forms of economical illegality. Working on this subject, various archival sources were used: documents of Soviet government, Communist party, courts, prosecutor`s office, Ministry of Interior Affairs and so on. Conclusions of dissertation shows that a mission of blocking natural entrepreneurship of Lithuanian society in post-war years was not successful for Soviet regime. |
