Abstract [eng] |
Perceptible images of the environment are complex, they have many features. It is unclear which features are important for perceiving objects. We choose for research two features – the orientation of object contour and the distance among objects fragments. We investigate normalization and tilt after-effect (TAE) for exploring the mechanisms of orientation coding. There are research investigating these phenomena, but the results were not used for exploring mechanisms of orientation coding. The monocular with eye sight fixate line bisection task (different line length) were chosen for exploring the distance among objects fragments. The goal of this work is to explore how to determine coding mechanisms for two features which are important for perception (the orientation of object contour and the distance among objects fragments). The results show is enough 2-4 responses of neurons for coding orientation. The distance among fragments is estimated according to distance among centroids in superior structures. There is correlation between not monotonically distance perception when the location of image changes from fovea to periphery in retina and the change of density of receptors (cones and rods) in retina. |
