Abstract [eng] |
The goal of the final paper is to investigate how energy efficiency in the existing electric gantry crane changes after upgrading it, using modern elements and gear control techniques. In the analytical part of the research work I examine the gantry crane, its purpose and design. Discuss the current main consumers of electricity, their operating conditions and characteristics. Describe modern gear control techniques used in lifting devices. In the design part of the final work new drive control apparatus is provided and selected. Existing crane equipment operating cycles, time and energy consumption are measured. Equipment for recuperation braking is analyzed and selected. Current and upgraded gantry crane theoretical reliability, and fault probability are calculated. Potential downtime losses and approximate cost of modernization are calculated. Current and upgraded gantry cranes energy efficiency rating is performed. |
