Abstract [eng] Purpose: to carry out a literature analysis and review as well as compare methods suitable for early diagnostics of laryngeal cancer. Literature review: Search for literature sources was conducted by using international databases „PubMed“ and „Google Scholar“. Search was done using keywords: „laryngeal cancer“, „laryngeal cancer early diagnostics“. By using 10 years filter any publication older than that was removed. Based on earlier investigation results, an additional search was conducted for discovered specific diagnostic methods, in order to not miss them because of alternative keywords, for this search keywords used were: „laryngeal cancer ...“ when instead of dots diagnostic method was written, for example „narrow band imaging“, „autofluorescence“ and other methods, reviewed in this thesis, but nevertheless trying to retain 10 years filter. This way, for the purposes of this thesis, 69 publications were selected. Results and conclusions: diagnostic methods used for early laryngeal cancer, repeatedly discussed in literature – computed tomography, magnetic resonance tomography, positron emission tomography – computed tomography, biopsy and histological evaluation, white light endoscopy, narrow band imaging, fluorescence imaging, autofluorescence imaging, microlaringoscopy, confocal laser endoscopy, chromoendoscopy, contact endoscopy, optical coherence tomography and endoscopic ultrasound. After reviewing and comparing all mentioned methods it was observed, that the best currently available diagnostic method – narrow band imaging. Additionally, future perspectives were analyzed – prophylaxis programmes, artificial intelligence, voice analysis apps, endoscopic methods currently unused for diagnostics of laryngeal diseases and biomarkers. Due to insufficient research, their efficacy is challenging to evaluate for the time being.
