Abstract [eng] |
The research of this thesis aims at the detection of thermal radiation with a radiometer using a silicon CMOS transistor. The goal of the present research is to investigate the basis of radiometry and, based on it, develop a methodological approach to identifying thermal radiation in the THz range. the basic principles of radiometry on the one hand and overview concepts describing some types of radiometer, as well more carefully the properties direct vs. heterodyne detection. We analyzed two different CMOS detectors for the direct thermal signal detection to find out which can be used properly detecting signal in the direct-type radiometer. In addition, a heterodyne type radiometer was also modeled. The experimental section which was carried out on a broadband THz detector with spiral antenna, and 250 GHz resonant detector, in terms of sensitivity parameters and comparison between them. |
