Abstract [eng] In recent years, there has been an increase in the number of start-ups globally. As a result of this increase in numbers, start-ups become one of the key contributors to the global economy. Start-ups are known for their emphasis on innovation and unconventional organizational structure that makes them more agile compared to other entities. Due to the uncertain and dynamic environment in which start-ups function, integrated and comprehensive risk management that aligns with the business strategy of start-ups is essential. In comparison with established organizations, start-ups with limited resources and agile organizational structure requires more integrated risk management. The study risk management for start-up success investigates the influence of comprehensive and integrated risk management as well as intra-organization factors on the success of start-ups. The study utilizes qualitative research methods to conduct in-depth interviews with the founders of start-ups as well as experts in the field from different industries and geolocations. The results of the study reveal that comprehensive and integrated risk management, as well as intra-organizational factors such as resilience, adaptability, agility, innovation, and entrepreneurial traits, influence the success of start-ups.
