Abstract [eng] In this study the main vital activity functions were evaluated of working-age people, who were officially determined as disabled for the first time due to cancers. Patients’, suffering from cancers, quality of life functions are affected by the localization of cancer and its clinical manifestation. For this purpose, the questionnaire EQ-5D-SL was used for the first time. Not only medical, but also social criterias were taken into account in order to evaluate such vital functions as moving, personal hygiene, eating and drinking, maintaining a safe environment and communication. There were chosen as an objective malignant tumor with different survival time and levels of prognosis. It was found, that movement, maintaining a safe environment and the ability to communicate are the most impaired functions because of cancers. In this study, the significant, positive correlation between the incidence of cancer sites and disability due to them was identified in 60 municipalities. Distinct geographical disparities of incidence and disability of analysed cancer sites was identified in the country's administrative territorial units. It was found, that the higher incidence rate of one or other malignant tumor was in a district, the higher disability rate was due to it there. However, the municipalities with the inverse link were identified as well. . In the absence of this coherence, it can be assumed, that in these municipalities, there are certain shortcomings in organizing help to the population.
