The final Master‘s paper considers one of the human resource management activities – Civil servant’s performance evaluation and problematic that appears in the system. Theoretical and practical aspects of evaluation system are being analized in both Lithuanian and foreign author’s work. Evaluation system that is organized and applied properly helps to make an important organizational and administrative decisions such as promotion, conditions of payment, need for qualification raising and for the improving the potential. The emphasize on the main factors of civil servant’s evaluation system such as evaluation subjects, the frequency of evaluation, evaluation criteria, the scale and the methods, is comprehensive analyzed by using the method of document analysis. The practical research done on the civil servant’s evaluation system in Siauliai municipality administration, helped to define the current situation and the problematic that appears, choose the course of development of the system. |
