Abstract [eng] The object of the dissertation research is the expression of social capital dimensions and the link with the social parameters of sustainable development and management. Aim of dissertation: To analyse the expression of the social capital dimensions in the management of social sustainability and to establish their possible links with social parameters of the sustainability. In the dissertation the literature explaining the dimensions of social capital, issues on social sustainability management, links between social capital dimensions and sustainable social management is assessed and systematized. The correlations between social capital and dimensions of sustainable social management are determined. The model revealing these links is presented. The suitability of this model was verified by the empirical research. Considering theoretical and empirical results of the research the conclusions were presented which disclose the interdependence links between social capital and social aspects of sustainable development. It was established that Lithuanian social capital is low therefore the attitudes and perception of social sustainability are also poor.
