Abstract [eng] |
After analysing legal documents, legislative framework, foreign pedagogical and applied literature it was proved that child protection policy at the European and national levels is formed considering these factors: protection from all kinds of discrimination, respecting child’s concerns, ensuring the right to life and development, ensuring the right to the freedom of speech, observance of opinion and involvement in decision making. The research proved that all rights are highly important to children attending day-care centres and employees at the day-care centres implement these rights up to standard. Carried out research revealed that there is a direct link between the importance of children’s rights and its actual existence. |
