| Abstract [eng] |
The Master’s Degree Thesis deals with assessment of involvement of children from social risk families in the activities of a day care centre. The analysis of laws and other legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania, the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child that have an influence on involvement of children from social risk families in the activities of a day care centre has been carried out in the Master’s Degree Thesis. On the basis of theoretical analysis of Lithuanian and foreign researchers a structured questionnaire has been prepared for social workers and pedagogues (informants) of Mažeikiai and Kelmė children’s day care centres and a questionnaire containing closed and open questions has been prepared for children from social risk families who attend Mažeikiai and Kelmė children’s day care centre (respondents) in order to implement the research on assessment of involvement of children from social risk families in the activities of a day care centre. The Master’s Degree Thesis reveals programmes being implemented, classes for development of personality and social skills. |
