Abstract [eng] A development of special needs support history for preschool age children with visual impairment in Lithuania was analyzed. Described early age children typhological support approachability. Hypothesis that early age children typhological support for children living in cities and towns have different opportunities to approach it. Investigation was made by making a questionnaire and interview. Main goal of it – to identify early age children typhological support opportunities and quality of services for preschool age children with visual impairment in cities and towns. In research parents who have preschool age children with visual impairment participated. These families already have typhological support. During this research there was one case found. Low vision child didn’t get any special pedagogical support because no one told parents about this possibility. Conclusions: Early age children typhological support for children started after Lithuanian independence. Documents which regulate children’s’ special needs education and early age children typhological support analyze shows that regulations are appropriate. Unfortunately there is no equal system which could help to get this supprt for all children, no matter there they live in the country. Lack of psychological support for parents who are raising early age children with visual impairment. In respondent opinion, tyhplopedagog have a lack of knowledge for working with low vision early age children. Hopefully, at the moment running project “Aitvaras. Ankstyvoji intervencija vaikystėje ir inkliuzinis aklųjų ir silpnaregių vaikų ugdymas Lietuvoje“ will help to solve some problems for early age typhological support for low vision children.
