The final master thesis analyses the attitude of parents of pupils with special educational needs in Lithuanian in Danish schools. The aim of this work is to analyze and compare the opinion of Lithuanian and Danish parents regarding education of pupils with special educational needs in Lithuanian and Danish general schools. The theoretical part of this Master Theses examines in detail the development of inclusive education and the recent changes in the world, Europe, Lithuania and Denmark. In this part you can also find a comparison and analysis of Lithuanian and Danish educational system. Besides that, I have also discussed education of children with special educational needs at inclusive educational system curriculum as well as educational programmes dealing with these students. The qualitative research has been made during the empirical part of this Master Theses. A structured interview was conducted to analyse the views of parents of children with special needs at the general schools in Lithuania and Denmark. During the analysis of a study the categories has been divided into sub-categories under the appropriate statements, analyses and comparison of view on inclusive education has been made analysing the opinion of parents living in Lithuania and Denmark. |
