Abstract [eng] Leadership expression specifics unique in that, the realization of a common goal, stands out personality or group of individuals, determining other people's actions and efforts with using non-coercive influence. For this reason the purposes of this master's thesis is - to form the conceptual leadership model, bringing together the main theories of leadership and, according to which, reveal the expression specifics of the leadership of Šiauliai city business organizations. To achieve this goal is performating the analisys scientific literature of these themes: the concept of leadership, the differences of leadership and management, the basic 8 leadership theories (traits, skills, style or behavioral, contingency or situational, transactional and transformational, charismatic, serving) with their main specific attributes, describing the characteristics of a leader and formed the conceptual leadership model, that combins 8 leadership theories. Also, there is performing questionnaire survey of the leadership expression at Šiauliai city business organizations (joint-stock companies, private joint-stock companies, individual companies), adapted to heads and downline employees. Total surveyed 34 heads and 88 units of downline employees. Formed the real leadership expression model of Šiauliai city business organizations, which revealed, how heads and their staff understands leadership, what leadership traits have heads, what are the specific features of distinguished individuals, who are identified as co-leaders. The leaders of Šiauliai city business organizations is characterized by a total 40 distinguishing traits, of which managers (heads) has 32 and the most typical theories are – traits, transformational and serving leadership theories manifestations. Revealed a problem, that there is lack of education of leadership and on the application of management policies, fear of competition, leadership potential often dampening the downline emploees at Šiauliai city business organizations.
