Objective of the work is to analyse the impact of Quality Management System on Companies’ Activity. The work contains a study on Quality Management Models, Standards and Concepts. There is also an analysis of stages of Quality Management Implementation. A research was carried out to explore the impact of implemented Quality Management upon Companies. The research was accomplished in two companies that had Quality Management implemented. The companies are – the private limited company „Kauno vandenys“ and the branch “Kauno geležinkelių infrastruktūra” of the public limited company “Lietuvos geležinkeliai”. The objective of the research: to ascertain main reasons of implementation of Quality Management system and to explore the impact of this system on effectiveness of companies’ activity. The object of the research – Impact of Quality Management. Tasks of the research: · To explore the main reasons that lead companies to implementation of Quality Management System; · To ascertain main principles and difficulties of Quality Management System Implementation; · To analyze how Quality Management system affects Company’s Activity; · To introduce conclusions and recommendations. The Research was continued for two months. The Employees of the above Mentioned Companies were surveyed using questionnaires and top-level managers and Quality Specialists were interviewed. The survey data was described and analysed. Main problems and suggested solutions were determined after the completion of the research. The work consists of three parts – theoretical, analytical and results. Each part is additionally divided into sections and rubrics. The theoretical part includes theoretic aspects of Quality Management; Analytical part contains examination of already accomplished researches on similar subject in Lithuania and European Union. The third part includes Analysis of the accomplished Research. |
