The last decade, a residential real estate prices in Lithuania and neighbor countries grew rapidly in the region and also between the European Union members. This increase was largely influenced by a growing domestic economy and improving economic indicators such as gross domestic product, wages and other factors. Also the real estate market is influenced by psychological factors, such as a profitable investment. Rapid grow of the house prices was possible to obtain real estate price bubble, which until now Lithuanian real estate market was not a familiar. Property prices began to rise rapidly in 2003, and it can be considered as starting point for emerging price bubble and in year 2005 prices raised the most during the last decade. Baltic states property market prices growth strongly dependent on macroeconomic indicators. |
