Men and women should perceive themselves at first, if they want to acknowledge and understand not only each other, but themselves as well by opening inner personality, desires, needs, aims; if they want inform society about their human being. Man builds identity seamlessly, not noticing that as well as consistently and consciously. Man‘s talk, apparel, features, communication style, free time activities, hobbies, creativity, profession and many more options are perceived as specific features’ reflections and it’s forms of expressions. Identity perception, identification with specific society group lets man express himself and even helps to reach the fullness of soul, encourages him to reach perfection. Compared to ancient times, nowadays there are many more ways and spaces to explore and build identity. For nowadays man television, print, radio and internet are very common things. In these mediums man can create, realize his decisions, satisfy needs, do everyday tasks, build bridges with other human beings, and advertise him. Person chooses various ways for self-conception, identity findings and realization; that could be self-analysis, communication, creativity, etc. Dating advertisement is not the only way to solve problems for the lonely, but also it is some sort of space for identity space for identity expression. Dating advertisements are often met in printed media as well as in radio or television. At the moment the biggest amount of dating advertisement could be found in internet portals. Ones are used to spread the message about self and build relationship individually and on your own, while the others suggest professional services for this purpose. In dating advertisement many various people try to express their identity presenting hobbies, interest, values, describing their features, profession, material and social state, etc. In other words dating advertisement reflects person’s attitude towards himself and self-perception. More and more often in all sort of mediums or simply communicating with each other, we face men’s opinion about women and vice versa. We get to know how opposite genders assess each other, what do they expect from each other, what type of opposite gender’s image – stereotype they mature and how it all is seamlessly transferred to society. That is why it is interesting and important to analyze how men and women perceive themselves, their identity and how expresses it, how they represent themselves. Especially nowadays when we can’t imagine life without newest technologies as in professional field, as in daily life and personal matters it is relevant to examine and compare how opposite genders represent themselves in virtual medium. |
