Abstract [eng] Heart and blood-vessel diseases – it is a problem of health of children and adults in all worlds which more and more grows up having not just a problem that person who has that heart and blood-vessel diseases, however it has a huge influence for people who are closed to this person. Child heart and blood-vessel disease are factors for health and quality of life of parents and it is not investigated yet. Aim of the study: to evaluate some aspects of quality of life of parents whose children have heart and blood-vessel diseases. Tasks of the study: 1. To evaluate the subjective condition of health of parents, whose children have heart and blood-vessel diseases. 2. To evaluate some aspects of life quality of parents, whose children have heart and blood-vessel diseases. 3. To identify links between the condition of health and the subjective evaluation of quality of life of parents, whose children have heart and blood-vessel diseases. Methods of the study: in March - December months in 2009 years were asked 206 parents according the anonymous questionnaire, the method of interview. These parents with children who have diseases of heart and blood-vessel were in-patient VšĮ VUL II heart surgery department in Santariškės clinic. An analysis of data was conducted using package of statistic SPSS 16.0 and programmer of Microsoft Excel. Results of the study: The most of parents (45,15 %) value their condition of health well. Women who their condition of health very well were 9,56 %, men – 20,00 %. The estimation of the subjective condition of health makes difference between parents background and sex. The bigger share of parents (57,28 %) thinks that the diseases of heart and blood-vessel of their children have a little negative influence their health. 41,75 % of parents think that their condition of health declined falling ill their child. Many of parents (38,35 %) their quality of life value well and moderately – (37,86 %). More men neither women value their condition of health very well (22,86 %, 10,29 %) statistically important. The immediacy connection of moderate intenseness between the estimation of the subjective quality of life and the estimation of the subjective condition of health, are statistically important. 33,33 % of parents thinking their health is excellent, they value their quality of life very well. 66,22 % of parents thinking their health is so-so, they also think and about their quality of life. Quality of life of parents allowing for their background disagrees statistically. 70,37 % of having university education their quality of life value very well and well, 74,19 % leaving secondary-school their quality of life value so-so. The value judgement of life quality disagrees statistically subject to income one of member of family. The more cash are one member of family, the the patrnets better value their quality of life. Neither their age, nor child age and sex having disease of heart and blood-vessel has not any influence to parents subjective quality of life. 91,75 % of parents do not complain pain or discomfort. 15,53 % of parents are always able to relax and enjoy herself. 40,78 % of parents are a lot of worried for children physical health. 9,22 % of parents developed addictions falling ill of child. 50,97 % of parents do not have problems in daily routine. Half of parents are often satisfactied their relationships to the members of family. 48,06 % of parents sometimes have opportunities to spend their free time how they want. 39,32 % of parents often last money of requirements and do not limit for diseases of heart and blood-vessel. 54,37 % of parents maintain that information about child disease is not suffice enough.
