The environmental behavior and knowledge economy entrenchment knowledge management distinguished from other traditional management objects. Successful knowledge management implementation is inseparable from its assessment: not only justified by investment in knowledge management, but also provides the basis for the knowledge management system. Therefore, the various organizations knowledge management systems can be installed in organization, the question is how to measure the knowledge management process efficiency and benefit from the results of the activities of the organization. However, knowledge management benefits to organization setup procedure are still insufficiently developed. There is a lack of detailed scientific work on this topic. Therefore it is extremely important aspect to evaluate knowledge management methods, because it would help understand the knowledge management influence on the activities of the organization. As with any other administration initiative, knowledge management implementation is investment decision, so it must be measured and evaluated. However, knowledge management benefits are very difficult to define and measure. It is evident that the traditional measurement and assessment methods, most of which are based on the financial activities of the organization indicators are not sufficient to disclose the fair knowledge management, since they cannot be fully explained, these resources as knowledge, expertise or experience. Although the intellectual capital importance to interest perception encouraged new, both quantitative and qualitative indicators covering the activities of the organization of the assessment methods development, but their adaptation knowledge management assessment is still problematic. The object of this work is knowledge management assessment. Master's research object is to analyze knowledge management assessment theoretical considerations and evaluate knowledge management in „TELE2“ headquarters in Lithuania. To reach job’s objective these tasks are brought up: 1. Disclosed value of knowledge management in organization; 2. Disclosed knowledge management and intellectual capital management interfaces; 3. Parse intellectual capital assessment methods and the opportunities for knowledge management assessment; 4. Exclude knowledge management the critical areas, knowledge management valuation model; 5. Make empirical study of „TELE2“ headquarters in Lithuania. Work has shown that intellectual capital methods do not fully assess the knowledge management in organization, since they do not include knowledge management processes. Meanwhile, an empirical research has disclosed that knowledge management is widely used in „TELE2“ because of its importance. |
