The agenda – setting theory is theory that the news media have a large influence on audiences by thei choise of what stories to consider newesworthy and how much prominence and space to give them. Agenda setting theory has two levels of agenda setting: The first – level agenda setting is most traditionally studied by reasearchers. Simply put, the focus is on major issues or objects. In second – level agenda setting, the news media focuses on the characteris of the objects or issues. On the grounds of communication theory (agenda – setting) this paper studies the image of emigrants ininternet media and internet comments. The object of this paper is image of emigrants in internet media and internet comments. The aim of this paper is to disclose the construction of image of Lithuanian emigrant. |
