On the 28th of November “Bitė GSM” announces e-revolution in Lithuanian mobile market and presents the most modern service “BITĖ online“. The service enables to start using mobile services or use a number portability service without leaving a convenience of home – via Internet. Popularity of such Internet based services is growing very fast all over Europe as everything is more convenient, faster and cheaper in Internet. According to CEO of “Bitė GSM“, Jesper Theill Eriksen, European mobile companies serving customers via Internet are the ones that are growing fastest lately. For example, in Denmark almost one third of population is using mobile service sold and serviced via Internet. However the representative of “Omnitel” thinks that market in Lithuania for this kind of services is too small. So the issue raises of expedience of “BITĖ online“ service in Lithuania. The object of this master paper is the ability to transfer services to e. services. The objective of this master paper is to evaluate the perspectives of e. services in the mobile service market in Lithuania. The research was started in 2005 on the 28th of November and the master paper was prepared in 2007 on the 18th of May. In the first part of this paper the author analyses e-services theory. In the second part he analyses “BITĖ online” service, the mobile market, internet users and e. services in Lithuania. Finally in the third part the author analyses the opinion research results of present and potential “BITĖ online” service buyers. Furthermore author discusses further perspectives of “BITĖ online” service in Lithuania. The master paper consists of introduction, three parts and findings. There are thirty nine pictures in the paper. The paper consists of 84 pages. |
