Abstract [eng] This work consists of three main sections, the first two being theoretical, and the remaining one being practical. Motivational theories (Alderfer, F. Herzberg, D. McClelland) as well as motivational process (V. Vroom, Porter ir Lawler) have been described in the first section of the paper. Means of employee motivation, sales department staff incentives and main principles of personnel satisfaction measures are all described in great detail in section two. This section also deals with the various facets of employee motivational systems. Worker incentive systems with the reference to internal marketing have been explained in this section too. Sales department staff motivational research (with reference to internal marketing) has been accomplished and results were rendered in this section. Analysis of “Švyturys – Utenos alus” company employee motivational and demotivational strategies have been presented in the last section of paperwork. Recommendations about how to improve sales department staff performance and motivation are given in this section. Purpose of the work - to evaluate motivation of sales staff department with reference to internal marketing. Tasks of the work: 1.To describe facets of employee motivation analysis. 2.To present sales department personnel motivational theories. 3.To evaluate key factors which best motivates employees by conducting a research and to summarize data gathered in the process as well as to present recommendations to aforementioned company managers. Object of the work – Motivation of Employee The main used literature: scientific literature of Lithuanian and foreign authors, publications, primary data and material from Internet. This work consists of 57 pages, 17 pictures, 2 tables, 2 appendixes.
