The paper deals with the theoretical analysis of the forms of aphasia, the principles and methods of language recovery. The purpose of case study was to reveal the dynamics of language recovery in different cases of brain damage, i.e., stroke, injury of brain, elimination of brain tumor. The main task of case study was to investigate, which methods are commonly used to recover impaired language, what is the dynamic of linguistic comprehension and speech during the rehabilitation, how does the type of brain damage influence the speech disorder and the recovery of speech. 12 subjects with aphasia, caused by different sort of brain damage, were chosen for case study. |
