The paper analyzes the environment of direct foreign investment in Marijampolė district and in Lithuania. There have been also tackled some classifications of foreign investments, some main theories of foreign direct investments, explaining the flotation of new companies, investments advantages and disadventages to the country, and motives of foreign direct investment in foreign countries. The research work comprises of 123 pages, including 14 tables and 25 pictures, excluding lists of literature and appendixes. |
