Analysis methods of the official documents, historical, comparative, descriptive, empiricial and sociological analysis methods were used in order to reach the aim and tasks of master’s thesis. As a result, it can be claimed, firstly, the importance of communication in cultural heritage conservation is associated with to two things – the role of society in cultural heritage conservation is increased, also, the meaning of information society is appeared. It means, that society need to get enough information to recognize and interpret its cultural heritage. So, there should be found a solution that will satisfy both – government’s, that is interested to preserve cultural heritage, and society’s demands. The solution is – public relations’ methods. Secondly, the strong importance of communication in the main strategic documents of Lithuania’s cultural heritage was appeared in 2005, when the new law of Immovable cultural heritage preservation was released. Since then there is a strategy to inform society not only to satisfy its demand, but also in order to induce their consciousness to preserve cultural heritage. Thirdly, the plenty of public relations’ methods are used to inform and educate society and propagate cultural heritage. However, all these methods are still ineffective (it was proved by socialogical analysis when 200 people were asked to fill the questionnaire about cultural heritage). This ineffectiveness may be caused by two reasons, one of which – the society still haven’t soaked up the information. |
