In this research participate 40 child parents, who children dispensary take psycho-stimulants group preparations (Ritalin or Concerta). This research accomplished parents interview by telephone, who children diagnosed ADHD and medicated psycho-stimulants group preparations in Child evolution centre children psychiatrical department of VUVL affiliate. Questionnaire made of two parts: first questionnaire part consist of 32 questions, which made independently, and second questionnaire part – medicine side effects rating scale (Russel A. Barkley and Kevin Murphy “Side effects rating scale”). Information processed by statistical programme SPSS for Windows v. 9 and “MS Exel 2002”. Results. The most part in the research participate 11 – 15 years old child, which consist 75%, it is 30 of 40 children. ADHD for boys is diagnosing and healing often than girls, it takes accordingly 87,5% and 12,5%. Children in stationary medicated psycho-stimulants group preparations: Ritalin and concerta accordingly 23 boys – 57,5% and 17 girls – 42,5%. Two-thirds of child after medical continues psycho-stimulants usage dispensary, but more than half 25 (62,5%) of all child medicines takes not regular, it is means, that they do medicines pauses, which generally are taken in weekends – 52%, at child holiday time – 32% and when shows medicines side effects – 12% of all children, who participate in this research. Third of all child psycho-stimulants group preparations takes 2 and more years. Child’s parents feel psycho-stimulants purchase difficulty: medicines reception – 56,25%; medicines prescription – 25% and limited financial facility – 18,75%. Psicho-stimulants preparations effect was assess positively, mostly score 8 and 9 points (in tenth score system) accordingly 25% and 22,5%. Psicho-stimulants side effects observed 21 children, and it is a little bit more than half of child, who takes a medicines. More than three-fifths parents indicate, that usually psycho-stimulants side effects are: reduced appetite, rather less than quarter of child’s parents note stomachache. More than half of parents, 11 (52,38%) medicines side effects intensity valued 5 points (from 9 possibility – Russel A. Barkley and Kevin Murphy “Side effects rating scale”). Weight change appearances using psycho-stimulants shows 17 (42,5%) child. 94,2% children using psycho-stimulants had weight appearance down and only 5,8% weight growth up. The most weight increase sighted at 7 – 9 months using Concerta preparation, Ritalin weight decrease most sighted when it used 2 and more years. A quarter of child weight decreased 2 kg, it composed the biggest child group. Interviewing child’s parents the most of them signed, that children weight observation made only one time in two months – 17 (81%). The most parents signed (overall was 9 (52,94%) of 17, who noticed weight change side effects), that they doesn’t take any child weight regulatory tools and almost one of five parents, who contacted with child weight change problems, frequently stimulate children eat more or determine medicines using. Nurses did not give information about hyperactive child caring problems and psycho-stimulants group preparations side effects pursue corrections. Interviewing child’s parents emerged, that no one of nurse gave such information. Nurse role of children hyperactive disorders observation and in nurse process creation is insufficient. |
