Abstract [eng] The object of this work is the resocialization of teenagers with delinquent behavior in home of special care and education. The purpose of the work is to analyse the socialization factors of teenagers, socialization conception, and system measures and peculiarities of the resocialization process in the home of special care and education. In addition, to analyse the teenagers‘ opinion of the resocialization measures aplicable in the home of special care and education. The tasks of the work are to present the analysis of scientific literature which is related to particular dissection of the teenagers with delinquent behaviour and describes the basic conception of deliquent juvenile behaviour, the impact of social factors on the process of juvenile socialization, the conception of teenagers‘ with deliquent behaviour resocialization and its system functioning in Lithuania, also, to present the measures of resocialization that are taken in the home of special care and education; secondly, to inquire the opinion of the teenagers who live in the home of social care and education of the resocialization measures and compare the differences of the opinion between girls and boys living in the home of social care and education. The research data was gathered by providing respondents with a questionnaire that was prepared by the author and was of a semi-closed type. The questions given to the teenagers of the home of social and education were oriented towards studying, leisure time, relationships, ways of problems‘ solving and behaviour‘s construction. The research was based on principles of confidentiality and freewill. Data was processed by using SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Science) the statistical software version 12.0. The methods having been employed were Chi square criterion (X), correliation coeficient (r), one calculated distribution of feature variable rates and relationship rates in a grip. The research was performed in the Veliučionys home of special care and education for boys and in the Vilnius home of special care and education for girls. In total 50 teenegers took part in the research, from them 23 boys and 27 girls. The reseach was carried out in 2007. The age of respondents is 12 – 18 years old. The results of research. According to pupils‘ opinion, the resocialization in Veliučionys and Vilnius home of special care and education is pursued in a purposeful way ( education, vocational training, discipline, socially valuable leisure time). However, the efectiveness of the resocialization could and, also, ought to be more powerful. In the institutions of care, there is a lack of leisure activities that both would fullfil the specific needs of the pupils and would be effective as a part of the resocialization process. The main reason of the fact the pupils attend the school and serve particular apprenticeship is a perception that it would be difficult to get a job without any practical or theoretical background. According to the majority of the respondents, a direct talk was mentioned as the basic way to solve internecine conflicts and other social problems. Also, it is important to mention, that none of female respondents mentioned fighting as the way to solve any kind of conflict in the institutions of care. According to almost a third of the female respondents, there is no person who helps to find out a sollution while having internecine conflicts. According to the majority of the respondents, a family is considered to be the most important worth in their life and this shows that in order to improve the resocialization process there is a need to perfect the relationship and social atmosphere where the exploratory is going to come back.
