Abstract [eng] |
The aim of this work was to identify anticancer agent‘s cyclophosphamide embryotoxicity before formating fetus protective mechanisms and while they were functioning. Research was done on Wistar rat embryos. Cyclophosphamide was injected intraperitonial with a single dose (15 mg / kg) on 1st, 3rd, 6th, 9th, 13th and 18th day of embryogenesis. Rat were killed and embryos were taken on 20th day of embryogenesis. Embryos were weighted, their length was measured, then they were fixed and after two weeks embryos were analyzed for external and internal defects. The research showed that cyclophosphamide induces postimplantational embryonic death, reduced body weight and length, also induces various birth defects. |
