Abstract [eng] The idea of paper is to ‘rehabilitate‘ soviet literature which is called ‘aesthetically worthless‘ in nowadays literature field. The aim of paper is to analyse interaction of texts and context of Antanas Vienuolis (1882–1957) and Juozas Baltušis (1909–1991) as well as to provide ideologized and non-ideologized analysis of papers. The objects of paper are considered not only stories of the analysed writers (stories by Antanas Vienuolis: ‘Stepdaughter‘ („Išdukterė“) (1945), ‘A hired girl Alena‘ („Samdinė Alena“) (1953) and ‘Breaking ice‘ („Lūžta ledai“) (1950), stories by Juozas Baltušis: ‘I am not a sheperdess any more‘ („Aš jau ne piemenė) (1933), ‘A slice of bread‘ („Abišalė“) (1946) and ‘Valiuse needs Alex‘ („Valiusei reikia Alekso“) (1960)), but the following other research material as well: public speeches of writers, textbooks of soviet Lithuanian literature as well as methodical material. On the basis of sociological literature researches by Pierre Bourdieu and Dominique Maingueneau, a context is understood as unseparable part of work essence occurence. Thus, a big emphasis in paper is made on the analysis of ideological-cultural context of soviet times. Having analysed ideological-cultural field of soviet times and revealed propaganda massification, a conclusion is made that impact of ideological context to work was a necessity in soviet times. On the basis of ideologized interpretation of prose by Antanas Vienuolis and Juozas Baltušis, subjectivity of soviet times is noticed. Because of partial interpretation of works, some of them were even ‘disfeatured‘. Analysis of public speeches of writers reveals that ideological context had a larger impact to self-consciousness and creation of Juozas Baltušis. A writer believed to be an artist of socialistic realism. By using the ideologized works interpretations of the analysed writers, the main aesthetical requirements to work of soviet times are also revealed in semantic and poetic levels. In order to ‘rehabilitate‘ the written in soviet times works by Antanas Vienuolis and Juozas Baltušis, a nonideologized interpretation is provided which reveals that their works distinguish by features of aesthetical work corresponding modern concept of aesthetics. The actuality of common topics of the analysed stories as well as poetic flamboyance make the works classical literature which remains valuable and actual in all times. This gives to the works of soviet times a perspective of scientific research.
