Aesthetical value of books for children usually is measured not only by evaluation of text but also by illustrations. Literature scholars and art critics, while discussing verbal and visual plane of a book, often forget that a text and illustrations in children literature are indivisible. In works of book of pictures genre where integral narration is created only through interaction of verbalism and visualism, while supplementing each other with significant notional nuances a smooth state of a word and view is essential. |
