Abstract [eng] Mergers and acquisitions have long been considered as a strategy for gain of market share and organizational growth. However as shown in many researches, the poor performance of post mergers/acquisitions integration projects is one of the main reasons of failure. Despite the fact that mergers and acquisitions projects are very popular in global business economy, there is a significant lack of research done in Lithuania. Research object: the management of post mergers/acquisitions integration. Research objective: to create the model of management and development of post mergers/acquisitions integration. Research tasks: 1. To analyze the term and the main forms of mergers&acquisitions. 2. To discuss the major reasons of mergers/acquisitions deals. 3. To describe the integration process of mergers and acquisition and identify its importance to deal success. 4. To analyze the empirical studies of management of post mergers/acquisition integration in foreign companies practice. 5. To carry out an empirical analysis of mergers/acquisitions deals in Lithuania. 6. To create the model of management and development of post mergers/acquisitions integration. Research methods: science literature analysis, comparison, systematization, synthesis, abstraction and interview. In order to fulfill the purpose of this research was conducted a case study of three Lithuanian mergers and acquisitions Results/conclutions: The analysis of science literature and foreign companies‘ practice and an empirical studies of Lithuanian companies‘ let to create the model of management and development of post mergers/acquisitions integration. Main university studies final research paperwork is written in Lithuanian language and includes 67 pages, 18 pictures, 8 tables, 3 appendixes and 74 literary sources.
