Abstract [eng] In the past, survival, prosperity or cultural problems were more individual, local or national, but the world has changed because of globalization. To have the right understanding what global integration means nowadays, people need to perceive how historical evolution, historical events changed the concept of quite new and fashionable word - globalization. The main purpose of the work is to identify the most common areas (Economy, business, studentship, ecology, political) where people can meet global integration, how they can feel the negative and positive impacts of global integration processes and of course why these processes are so important. The work is divided into four three parts: Introduction, main theoretical part and conclusion. Theoretical part includes information and analysis of globalization processes, pros and cons, changes of the concept of global world, how the globalized world should look like also it is based on interview with Žygimantas Pavilionis (The member of Lithuania parliament). Purpose – to identify what is global integration, what positive and negative influence it has on the world’s economy and business.
