Abstract [eng] |
This dissertation focuses on the laser beam shaping for improving laser micromachining and imaging in the terahertz wavelength range. The dissertation is divided into two parts. The first part includes the study and use of geometric phase elements in the near-infrared radiation range, suitable for high-power laser beam shaping applications and to improve specific material microprocessing tasks: the generation of Bessel-type beams for directional control of microfractures in glass; the transformation of the initial Gaussian beam into a flat-top beam or other more complex intensity field with unique polarization properties and its application in micromachining of various materials. The second part of the work is devoted to applications of beam shaping in the terahertz frequency range and the production of special elements from silicon and steel foil. Studies of the fabrication of elements and the application of the formed beams in imaging experiments are presented. |
